Out On A Wing Falconry  proudly presents our Falconry Experience Days

These are not Falconry but a chance to experience Birds of Prey at close quarters.This day is for you and your guest/s only.

The day starts with a cuppa (most important) and a general chat about how we weigh, chart, feed and fly the birds. Then a general introduction to the birds and fly the owls and you can hold some of the birds for photos (with your own camera). Then its lunchtime (included .either ploughman's or soup/roll) The afternoon starts with seeing the Falcons flown to the lure and ends by going out with a caste of Harris's on a simulated hunting event.(If we're really lucky we may catch something).The Day starts at 11am and finishes between 3-4pm.

This is presented as a voucher personally inscribed with the recipients name and includes lunch in the price.

The price for the day is £75.One watcher per person with a £10 charge for the day (includes lunch).

These are only an experience day NOT training for falconry.We recommend either a Falconry course of at least 3 days at a reputable Falconry Center (with ideally a Lantra qualification at the end) or find a Falconer who will mentor you on all aspects of the sport.

For the sake of the Birds do it properly.

TALKS

For Talks we will come to your venue with around 5 birds of different species and tell you about each individual bird.This usually lasts for around 1 hour.The price for this is £65 to include travel up to 20 miles.For further distances please contact us.

WEDDINGS

For weddings you can have either an owl as a Ring Bearer (usually Solo, the Dark-Breasted barn Owl) or you can have your own flying display (subject to area) of owls,hawks and falcons .Please contact us for your own individual quote.
