Name: Dark-breasted Barn Owl (tyto alba Guttarta)
Length: 33-35cm (13-14in)
Wingspan: 85-93cm (33-37in)
Weight: 240g-380g (8.5oz-131/2oz)
Diet: small mammals,also birds,small reptiles,frogs and larger insects sometimes serve as prey.
Range:

Central and Eastern Europe

NB. Distribution is shown for all races of Barn Owl

Habitat:

From East France eastwards English Barn Owl merges with European and in West Germany,hybrids of the two may be found.In summer occasionally visitors come to East Anglia.

Solo was hand reared by Tina in April/May 07 and has really taken to display work.As a ball of fluff on the stand to just being a loveable rogue on Experience days, his character just keeps going. Solo is now our main ring bearer for weddings.
