Hybrid Falcons are a cross between two different species of     

falcon, that rarely occur in the wild.These are man-made falcons,bred  usually to get the best of two species. (i.e. speed of peregrine,size of Gyr etc )

Rowan is a Red-Napped Shaheen cross Saker Falcon born in 2006.The Red-Napped is a sub-species of the peregrine re- nowed for gaining height, which she seems to be doing nicely. Rowan has also got a teenage attitude at the moment so this year should be fun.
