The Raptor Trust was founded in 1983 as a group in Norfolk, England,
purely run by volunteers, to treat sick and injured birds of prey
and to alert the public to the need to protect and conserve both birds
of prey and the habitat in which they live. |

The
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary
The sanctuary is a bird of prey centre in East Anglia. It is a registered
charity comprising a team of dedicated falconers and volunteers committed
to the welfare of the owls and other birds of prey that live at the
centre. There are daily flying demonstrations and a raptor hospital
with information about owls. |
The
Hawk Board
The Hawk Board works to protect falconry and the keeping of birds
of prey by collecting and collating scientific evidence on all aspects
of captive birds of prey. It also endeavours to make sure that the
standards of bird of prey keeping are of the highest in the UK. |

Independent Bird Register
The Independent Bird Register was set up in 1994 to reunite lost,
found and stolen hawks, falcons and owls with their rightful owners.
The IBR issues
breeders and split rings for all birds of prey.

Campaign for Falconry
The Campaign for Falconry started life in 1997 as an initiative between
The Hawk Board and the Countryside Alliance. Its purpose is to raise
funds and awareness and to defend falconry and the keeping of all
birds of prey. |
DEFRA
Defra works for the essentials of life - water, food, air, land, people,
animals and plants. They would be the contact for all legislative
enquiries regarding raptor conservation and captive birds of prey. |
International Centre for Birds of Prey
The International Centre for Birds of Prey is the new name for the National Birds of Prey Centre. It is and has been for many years, a specialist zoo of birds of prey dedicated to their conservation run by
Jemima Parry-Jones MBE. |
